Has that been in a front end crash? I'd wager it has, there is even a ripple in the down tube near the head tube junction by the looks of it.

I had to do the exact same thing with the brake caliper/headset clearance on my Lee Cooper frame and forks, maybe it's a Columbus Max issue.

There are just fewer rings around now, but they don't go for a great deal more than modern track rings 20-30 on ebay. I have one you could have for the postage, you interested in a 48 or 49 tooth?

Yeah, the pre 67 finish is the same as all the pista cranks up to the C-record era when they got all highly polished. as far as I know!
