So a while ago I decided that my bike built around a to-big Raleigh SPD 531c frame was too big...
So I sold that and picked up a late 70's Harry Quinn - in my size in 531 - it had belonged to an old 90 year old and he had ridden it every day - it was in great condition, 6 speed cassette and...
Hello - another "help me!" thread
I picked up a new/old bike on eBay - the fella was selling as he said it needed a bit of work on it - fixed the most obvious things and then found that the long cage rear mech doesn't really have any spring left! :(

Any clue where's best to pick up new chain rings for campag veloce 9 speed triple chainset? I imagine it's from the early 90's.

Picked up a new bike today - was sold as a frame with the rest of the bits being extra as it needs a bit of work. Luckily I can fix it...
So a wee update on this....
I decided that sticking the bike up for sale and picking something else up would be the most cost effective/best route....
not suck it up for sale yet...
work up today, the weather's nice and I just wanted to get out....
So I ran to the garage and started bolting...

Was asked to clarify the sizing... turned out I was 5mm out - it's not corrected in the first post. Sorry!
