i know a 65 to 85 mm fork is recommonded for a bontrager.i have a vintage 100mm marzocchi with a 1" steer tube.. will this work on the 96 bontrager or will the frame geometry be screwed up by this much travel..the frame is a XL 21" center of BB to top of seatpost tube.. anyone running this...

finished this build last year,its my daily ride.this bike rides nice and smooth. some old school parts with a few new parts added.i think this frame is a '95.
