So many Implants!! Since I have yet to ride mine yet, what's the Implants greatest strength?

If anyone is interested, Chris Dekerf also welds the Chromag Surface 29er frame. These are hardtail all-mountain frames ideal for West coast Canadian riding. These frames have less traditional geometry than Dekerfs to fit a longer travel fork

After some discussion with Chris - I just got back from his shop with my new project! Any recommendations for the build? I could use them. I have never built from the frame up before.

It was finally dry-ish today so I went for a ride and took a few pics along the way:

Re: dekerf Can you post some pics? I'd like to stay with the green frame but with the red fork I have; seems way to little red in the frame for all that red in my fork. And green fork and green frame maybe too much green. Maybe a black fork would look good with the green frame.

Why single speed may I ask? Not sure why anyone would put so much into a bike a not enjoy the luxry of multiple gears. Not trying to be offensive - just curious.

You`ve got great tast with that colour scheme and all. The white forks were a little overkill but the touch of white in the seat is smart. When you`re asking for stem, seat post recommendations; are you asking what people like from a functional point of view or esthetic point of you?

Whoa! looks like mine, just shinier. I'm a fan of the green on green. Thing is if I change the paint, chances are I'll have to change the fork colour just to match and probably other things like headsets, hubs ...... Just got mine back from the shop. I'll post somemore pics on the...

That is nice - Seems like you put a lot of dough in to that bike. That Dekerf fork and bar stem is very very pretty. Good for you!
