    Help identifying retro bike

Thanks very much, appreciate the advice 👍. I'll try and source either a sleeve with the correct OD and ID, or a long shim as a last resort (I've seen 100mm ones online).

Just to add, I tried measuring both the internal diameter of the frame (not very accurate as damaged), along with the outside diameter of the existing seat post, and I got 29.8mm on both. Having already looked for collars etc, this didn't stand out as a common size.

Gotcha. This parts all new to me but I know what you mean. So find a length of tubing that has an outside diameter, the same as my current internal diameter-27.2mm. Slide into the frame, coated with something like eproxy (assume this is what you'd use?) leaving 2 or 3 inches at the top where I...

Thanks a lot. How would you go about the seat post repair? Would you look at getting it welded properly?

    Help identifying retro bike

Hi All! I'm hoping to get some help in identifying a bike frame I've owned for many years. Unfortuantely no real story around it, other than my grandad gave it to me about 15 years ago (sinced passed, so I can't ask him). I've found out as much as I can with little knowledge so far but i'm at...
