Re: finally the disc project its done.. i had to use 16mm M5 screws, otherwise it was not possible to reach a full tight of the screws..

Re: i have two bikes with Spin.. one with the regular rim brake and i'm very paranoid of braking hard like you mentioned before.. but on the other hand was able to purchase an almost new unused wheel set and the front had the disc hub version.. still waiting to get some long screws from ebay...

cool setup.. but you are not afraid that the maguras will eat quickly the rim brake area?? i am very paranoid on my wheels for that lol

the combo, right frame/spin trispoke wheels for my opinion can archive probably the best good looking retro bikes... i just purchased another nice framed Specialized Epic 2003 this is how it looks

took those pictures the day i got them.. didnt wanted to further disassemble more the hub since its new and if its not broken, theres no need to fix it :) but since before i was very curious by myself to see how the disc brake hub was, i wanted to share the photos

Re: to be honest i never seen with my eyes the first hub version around.. plus i don't like to push my bike to the limits .. i'm just interested ok how the bike looks more than how it drives lol.. i'm a commuter.. almost never drive off-road .. here some more pictures of the hub .. never seen...

those are with the original Spin disc brake hub, purchased them on eBay this summer, not for cheap but considering the prices of today can say got them cheap.. originally paid for them 600$ but got an partial refund of 50$ since the seller didnt mentioned that the rear wheel has a lateral moment...
