    I couldn't find any X Beams when I recently bought a set of used wheels so I made my own carbon ones (my old career, now retired)

    Yes ,the X Beams had double sided tape on them and fitted about midway between each pair of spokes

    the narrower freehub body MAY be able to get machined down 1.8 mm , or the back of the cassette milled out 1.8 mm , how it works depends on the geometry of the drive side spokes

    Re: I have some VGC brake calipers in Australia if you get desperate , which variety did you particularly want , only the 7403 is dual pivot .

    no im not sorry , i went out to my shed last night and fitted mine to a frame and stopped after 10 clicks , i assume they are spaced for 3mm steps if you use the correct setting on the plastic part of the RD
