Thanks! I've updated the thread title to indicate that the mystery has been solved, but comments are still very welcome. The original plan was to pillage it for parts for my '94 Kilauea project, but it's just too darn fun to ride and seems like a shame to break up the mostly original components.

Awesome find! It was in darn good condition compared to a lot of them these days. I picked one up a few weeks ago that had apparently been found in a dumpster. Sadly, it had been relieved of most original parts, including everything titanium. Going to take a while to get all that back :(...

Just curious... I was looking at Tremclad rust paints today, and they say on the can that primer is not necessary for most applications. Why the three coats of primer? Was it really necessary? Anybody care to weigh in? I took a closer look at the bike I'll be working with and I'm lean toward...
