Maybe. I bought it with a threaded yellow p2 and a yellow velocity that Ernie had sprayed to match. They were from a '96 so didn't fit the era for me as '97 was the year Kona went Ahead/clamp-on.
The '98 in the background shot had the decals under the lacquer. Which was a shame as they were...
No, mine on my '97 are on top of the paint. They are also the same decals as used on the Ti Kona's with original decals that I have owned. My custom '97 USA made Caldera also had these type of decals. They start to crack and craze in places as they age. By contrast, my old '98 green sparkle Hot...
Option 2 for me.
I do like white bikes but Kona's in particular were hit hard with the white powder coating craze! It only really belongs on the 95 Kilauea (imho).
The candy red is classic Hot!
Looking for a Titec Fathead stem 1"1/8 steerer removable faceplate.
90 to 100mm length any rise considered.
Titanium would be ideal but would also consider a steel version.
Sold a 90mm Ti version years back and would love to have it back for my Dekerf Elysium
I have one. 32h x517. It's nos, never laced and still has the hanging tag. It does however have some small chips in the ceramic coating, l guess they have been there from when it was made. I've had it years and it looks the same so l think it's stable. Let me know if you would like pics.
