Hi guys. I'm building a 2002 kona stab primo to period spec. I'm trying to find a seatpost to fit the age of this bike and I was wondering how old are Thomson seat posts? I know they still make them now but when were they first released? Would one look out of place on a 2002 bike??
Thanks!

Thanks kona-Ian
I'm really pleased with the results, it's not perfect but it's pretty close. On to the next project.........

I'm liking that stab Luke!
So this project has been running for over a year now! I did say I wasn't going to rush it.
I have the frame back from the paint shop now. Just have to put it all together. Pictures to follow.

Getting the headtube sprayed next week. That's the last piece of the puzzle! Then I can rebuild it.

Kona-Ian yes this shock would fit. I got it off eBay. The size your after is 7.785" length x 2" stroke.
Re:
I was thinking of having it sprayed around the headtube by a guy I know who does car bodywork. The standard of finish I'm aiming for is quiet high and I'm not that good with rattle cans!! Thanks for the idea though. But if the guy I know can't or won't do it for any reason I might have to...
