I picked up this Dawes Emblem last night from someone and really don't know anything about this age of bike. I have tried searching but can not find any reference to this model or really any of the older Dawes makes, I have found a reference to the saddle ! and this has a date of around 1962...

Thanks for that, I guessed it was lower down the range. Its not in bad condition no bad scrapes only a little wear on the top tube on the made in Britain sticker and one of the letters is missing from hardtrax on the other side. Thanks agin

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about this bike, like the year and if its any good. I pulled it out of a skip the other week and had a new back wheel put in it and some tires, it weighs 28lbs all up and rides very well. I have seen lots of Saracens on the forum but...
