Just got back from the ‘Shed of doom’! The seatpost that came with the frame is a 26.8mm, and I can confirm that it’s a good fit. (obviously, it might be different on an Mi80, but hopefully that’s a good start) Good luck with the build 👍

Appreciate the offer, but I think 231s wouldn’t really work on this project… a bit out of the timeframe. (even though 231cd’s are my favourite rim of all time!) Sorry.

I’m looking for a wheelset that would be in-keeping for a 1996/7 era build. It’s for a Pace RC200f6 build, so something fairly nice… XT/XTR Hubs (or something a bit more trick?), on Mavic 217cd rims (or equivalent). Or maybe early Mavic Crossmax (rim brake version)?
