Just a couple of photos of the old girl in her former glory - alas the same can't be said about me! This one's on the top of Snowden after a long gruelling ride up the toursit track - the next one is on the first major trip out - on the Pennine Way. You'll notice my friend's Overbury Pioneer.
thanks legrandefromage - what a wonderful bike (Konagliders) - I've always loved my Saracen but didn't realise the Conquest had an earlier history - do you know when was the Conquest first released?
Konaglider - I'm intrigued it looks every bit a Saracen, so why is it branded 'Evans' - must be one of the best preserved Conquests around - very envious!

Dendy - not a brilliant photo but here's another one - now with it's original Blackburn rack - I'll post others when the sun comes out!
Thanks silverclaws - I fully agree - was very tempted but you're right and it's good to know they're all my scratches!
Here's a bike that's seen quite a bit of riding in the British hills - usually with full camping gear attached - along with a friend with his Overbury's Pioneer. Bought this Saracen Conquest back in 1985 for a ride along the Pennine Way from that point on I was hooked. The bike's been over...
