Holy crap, how did the old one look that bad!? I've been wearing the same watch all day every day for a couple of years now, whilst mountain biking, doing garden work, etc, and it's not half as bad as that one. Although, I did take it to the watchmaker when it broke, so...

I hacked apart a Townsend and used the seat cluster, BB shell and dropouts for a bamboo bike project. Those tube walls were literally 2mm thick.

FWIW, none of that will stop a determined thief. Anti climb paint and carpet strips? They'll just chuck a piece of carpet or a tarp over the wall. Security lights and CCTV? BB gun and a hoodie. Better built fence? They'll just go over it or get more violent with the panels. The dog will make...

It's 23", 1" smaller than my road bike, 2" bigger than my MTB. Not sure on top tube length as I can't find the geometry anywhere.

No I really am, I've had three and they've all looked awful and handled like crap. The uber long head tube makes you feel unstable, and having loads of seat post means you're generally over the back axle, making climbing impossible and jumping sketchy.
