This is Frame A4032773, March 1994. An Orange clockwork in good overall condition but ripe for further restoration. ( No idea if the shocks work. I have never serviced them )
Orange brand tube ( Orange cromoly 7 )
Good Furious Fred tires.
Looking for offers around 220GBP and collection from the...
Holy thread revival batman.
I have had this bike a while and am not using it off road. ( Had a knee op and not been riding )
I went out on a Marin Hybrid the other day and loved it.
I therefore have a dilema. Do I hybrid my Clockwork or sell and replace?
I feel the forks are wrong, the tyres...
I have put 2.1 Furious Fred tyres on my Clockwork. I didn't check before with 1.9s, but the front gear change now won't move enough to allow the chain to drop to the smallest cog. Is there a work around or is it a problem with the wider tyres I will have to live with.
Am I right, if I have slightly out of true wheels, I can right them by tweaking the spokes?
I have one wheel which rubs the pad over 1" travel in one place on a rotation.
How many spokes around the 1" will I need to tweak?
I love my Matt black. I have some decals coming from these guys. http://www.dnfive.co.uk/Bike-Decals/Ora ... tm#listing
They will cut others, and indeed I had him copy my existing clockwork decals and they are perfect.
Everyone on line seems to want to sell multipacks or charge a fortune for post.
I would like a pair of silver, black or orange bolts for my clockwork frame.
Anyone got a split multipack and knows how much a stamp is?
As title, are Furious Freds any good for light trail and road, predominantly dry?
Also, is their 2.2 a good 2.2 or are they smaller than stated? Will they fit and run well on my Clockwork?
