I am looking to take delivery very shortly of a Cannondale CAD2 F500 with Headshox. Wanting to see anyone out there who has one? And what they are using it for? Will be turning mine potentially into a XC machine, with Magura's and a 1 x 10 drive train.

I am fan of 26er's myself. Tired the other wheel sizes, had a Cannondale 29er and 27.5 Jamis Dragon but did like both as much as the 2010 Trek Top Fuel 8 I let go. But will look to build a 29er XC bike after this, which will couple as a commuter as well.

Heard it is the do it all original All Mountain bike, that's why I got one. Plus 26" bikes price tag in the second hand market have suffered dramatically.

Due to time constraints progress has been slow but the bike is now fully stripped, masked and ready to be powder coated. Colour will be chosen on the day but it has been narrowed down to three. New pictures will be up once it has been painted to show the build.
