Hi Chris - I will take the crankset if you're prepared to hold it until next week. Lacking funds until payday! Understand if you get another offer though. Cheers

For Sale Dura Ace 7700 Groupset

Would be nice to have a DA rear mech as well, but pretty sure my legs won't put up with anything less than 32th!

Sold Dura Ace FC-7402 chainset 172.5

Thanks Chris. A DA rear mech would be nice addition, but my legs tell me that I need to stick with a 32th cassette. Will let you know about the crankset tomorrow, if that's ok. Cheers

Sold Dura Ace FC-7402 chainset 172.5

Thanks. Just need to check my square taper type, but don't think IOS or JIS will make much difference. Just need to see If I justify another crankset to myself before pay day!

Great - thanks. I don't need it, but it bugs me a bit that i've got a 105 on there, when all else is DA!

Argh. If I hadn't just finished building a new vintage road bike I'd have had this in a shot - even have a mate in Brentwood that could collect. Ah well.

Dura ace front hub - how to...

Thanks for sharing that pdf Matt, I'd not seen that one. Does look like I just need to be a bit firmer with it. You're right about the caps. It does look like they should prise off via that screw driver slot, but they do also seem to be made of cheese when forced, so going to try with with a...

Dura ace front hub - how to...

Hello, I have a dura-ace front hub that I want to service/re-grease and then build into a wheel. Simple enough, but when I take the lock nut and cone out, the axle doesn't want to slide out. There's play in it and nothing solid holding it in place, so assume that there's a washer or a seal...

    Wanted 16 hole silver rim

Obviously assuming plenty of life left in rim of course, but I'm sure you'd not be selling if there wasn't!

    Wanted 16 hole silver rim

Thanks. Unfortunately I'm nearer the other end of the M4 so it would need to be posted. If you're happy with the hassle of dismantling and posting then I'm happy to pay.. cheers

    Wanted 16 hole silver rim

That would be just the job - although would you want to dismantle a perfectly good wheel? There's the similar rim on SJS so perhaps I should just get that. Not sure there's any difference between the RS21 and RS20 rims themselves? Thanks Jim

    Wanted 16 hole silver rim

Thanks for the tips. Will keep an eye out for those, although have also seen the rim on SJS Cycles which might be a viable new alternative to a cosmic, although a bit beefy: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/rims-tape/shimano-whrs20asf-700c-622-rim-silver-16-hole/
