cheers for all the comments lads.I've been running the same setup for months plus semi slick tyres. Its been abit hairy lately with all the rain but I've put 1000 + miles on this setup and its still going strong. the front deore mech is dead but a mate gave me a lx replacement. I,m gonna ride...
Thanks for the input wold ranger :-) I'll go explore.I tried some different(better) tyres out tonight and the
ride was a lot better. All my mates run front suspension but I like the feel of steel;-)
Has anyone got a gurvinflex stem for sale 1" fitment???? or are they like rockin horse shit?
Cheers Wold Ranger I'm a Hu5 lad. Yeah I think some pace forks would suit it,I'll keep my eye out for some. Can you recommend any good trails in our area? I'm getting bored doing the same Raywell/Ferriby rides.....
Has anyone used rst 461s before? At that price they seem like a steel,I just wonder weather they would suit the bike and be light enough.I know they were factory fitted to later orange bikes but 100mm of travel is maybe too much for my old clockwork?
 Really happy with my setup.I did 22 miles tonight and the only thing to let me down was my head stem (serves me right for fitting one from a falcon) but it was the only 1" one i could find at the time. Anyway I thought if I'm replacing the stem I might aswell do the forks and go A head...
I posted a pic of the forks because a friend said they were bent??? There spinners, are they the same as kona p2s? and do they have a slight forward lean?
I had a little test ride last weekend, but tomorrows the real test when i hit some trails:-) It felt very harsh(boneshaking) any ideas how I can soften it up a bit?
I chucked all my parts on tonight...
I'm just waiting on some lx shifters and grips off ebay.I hope to be rolling by weekend
Yes I know theres no hope or azonic in this build, but its cost me less than £150 so far and thats far less than halfords well charge u for worse
