Shimano 600 rear mech, perfect working order and cosmetically good. £20 posted Shimano 500ex front mech, perfect working order and cosmetically very good. £15 posted Shimano 105 calipers, perfect working order and almost mint condition, a bit of rust on one nut only. Pads very good. £25 posted.

Yep £400 includes de-chroming and re-chroming. I could have it welded but this would decrease the value of the frame. Only a full repair would enable it to hold its original value. I`m currently trying to get the sender to refund a third of the value of the full bike sale as the quote clearly...

Had a quote from Mercian for around £400! A lot more than the frame is worth. Think i'll get a quote from the guys you've suggested.

I had the sense to pay with standard paypal thankfully. I think the best coarse of action will be to get a quote from a professional frame builder/repairer and claim back through paypal. If anyone can recommend anyone I'd be very grateful.

Bought a bike from the forum from a now banned member and received it with a damaged rear hanger (non replaceable sort) due to piss poor packaging. It was shipped from Poland so sending it back will be pricey. Its a steel frame and the rear end is chromed, its a LOOK 233, i`m guessing i can get...
