I bought my courier comp in 1989 and it had a dark burgundy crackle paint finish. I thought that version came out the year after as the paint job was radically different. Spec was pretty similar.

This morning’s job. Have a set of USE bars and bar ends. But bar ends didn’t have the internal spacer. So used an aluminium bar and cut and drilled some spacers. also have some middleburn cranks ready to go Pending chain rings.

Think you’re correct on the frame tube decal. May have To change that.

I think it was just a higher spec version of the C16R. Just came to me as almost bare frame. I think re ran it with Pace forks. I sourced the F7 forks.
