Sorry for the dumb question but, What is an Ahead steerer? I think my bike has a 1 1/8th threaded steerer and quill fitting stem so wouldn't that count some of these forks out? Cheers

Not sure of year. pics of when I picked it up- viewtopic.php?f=1&t=249075 Got it cheap and I am tidying it up a little. I've put new tyres, brakes, stem, seat on it, and polished the rims since the pic.(and taken off the mudguard) Just need new crank set with a decent smooth gear change.

Hi, The plate with GT on it is curved and it is more "grape" than blue so Arrowhead it is. I bought it for a bit of casual off road use when Im out riding with my kids.(I live in the middle of the forest of dean) Im new to mountain bikes so rather than pay £150 for a heavy framed new bike...
