black and gold is a great color scheme i think. the wheels really suit the bike. i am currently restoring an old viscount racing bike. i'm having it powdercoated green, cant wait to see it finished. did it take you long to restore your bike?
your viscount looks great mate. i hope mine looks that good when its finished. i have decided to have it powdercoated green but a shade that suits the time the bike was made.
that looks like a very similar frame to my bike. thanks for posting that. i think your right about viscounts being powdercoated. on closer inspection of my very aged paint it does look like powdercoat.
thanks for the advice guys. i think i might change the color to a blue on my racing bike but i've got plenty of time to think about it before the powder coating.
hi, glad to hear your all good. i'll put some pics up soon of my restorations in progress and my raleigh pioneer classic. been really busy with new job and work at home. its great to be back.
hi, i am just starting 2 restorations. a vintage viscount racer and a retro apollo shopper. at the end of the month i am going to be sending both of them off for powder coat but i'm not sure if i should stick to the original color which is maroon on both or change the color all together as there...
hi chris, i'm interested but i cant every week. let me know if you arrange it. thanks.
hi feetabix. when are you looking at going again. i can ride most saturdays.
hi mate, thanks for that. as its around 30 miles from me i could only get there maybe once a month as i dont drive so i would have to get a lift there. i'll let you know which week i can get a lift. thanks again.
