As above, looking for a beater frame or frameset in Bristol around 56cm sized. Ideally with semi-sloping dropouts.
I have a nice 1" threaded fork kicking about if you have a fork-less frame you're looking to get shot of.

I recall reading some years ago that, back in the good old days, it was not uncommon for a complete groupset from the big manufacturers to include dropouts, the idea being your local bike shop would take your shiny box of Dura-Ace/Super Record and frameset would be built to suit your needs using...
As above I am looking for a classic negative-rise 110mm-long quill stem with a 26mm clamp. I am not too fussy on condition provided it's not unusably rough!

For sale is a totally unique ALAN 'cross frameset, likely from the late nineties (frame marked 11/98).
The bike is a strange hybrid of regular welded construction and ALAN's signature bonded construction — the fork in particular features bonded legs and dropouts with a steel steerer.
