No paintwork saves a lot of rebuildtime... This one is an original raw aluminium frame.
Serial # C182237, so it's 18'', frame 22, heat-treatment batch 37.
The chainstay looks pretty crappy. I'm thinking about a complete restoration, but I don't know if I can find the time with all the other projects I'm working on.... and is it worth it.
Most of the parts on my wishlist are in... but I'm not sure about the brakes. Maybe I'll try to get a set of Paul brakes.
Frame: Colorado tubing css
Fork: Tange Switchblade
Headset: Tange
Stem: Tange Avenger T-Bone (matching color)
Handlebar: Answer Hyperlite
Grips: ATI Tomac
Barends: none...
Just got it back from mediablast en now it’s of to paint. I’m not goig for purple but for a Bodacious Blue/Sky King Fade. The Switchblade forklegs and the stem wil also be painted....both in Bodacious Blue.
Hey guys!
Time for me to do a proper build thread. I have been on here for quite some time now, but never did. My most recent acquisition, a ‘94 Serotta Colorado ATX frame, was in need of a new coat of paint.
Great day and a super ride in the dutch Alps. To bad not al the 35 years of Stumpjumpers were pressent maybe next year...

Re:
Thanks for the info!
And you're right, it is the same bike. I'm helping Jeroen a bit getting the bikes ready to put in the museum. He is trying to get the museum ready at the beginning of july. But on the 17th of may it's Stumpjumperday!
