No paintwork saves a lot of rebuildtime... This one is an original raw aluminium frame. Serial # C182237, so it's 18'', frame 22, heat-treatment batch 37.

Picked up this frame a few weeks ago, and after a good pollish and a search for parts it's finally finished. Ready for a ride next weekend...

The chainstay looks pretty crappy. I'm thinking about a complete restoration, but I don't know if I can find the time with all the other projects I'm working on.... and is it worth it.

The frame is back... So a small update on the build.

Thanks! The paintguy did an excellent job. Monday the cĺear will be ready. After that it's up to me, hoping to get it ready for Iconoclassics...

Just got it back from mediablast en now it’s of to paint. I’m not goig for purple but for a Bodacious Blue/Sky King Fade. The Switchblade forklegs and the stem wil also be painted....both in Bodacious Blue.

Re: Thanks for the info! And you're right, it is the same bike. I'm helping Jeroen a bit getting the bikes ready to put in the museum. He is trying to get the museum ready at the beginning of july. But on the 17th of may it's Stumpjumperday!
