    You don't see many 1991 specs of these. Everybody knows the 1993s (I have 2 comps and a Team from '93) but I'm not sure I've ever seen a '91. I feel like I'm missing a bike now

    Not sure if you sold this, but extending the brake hoses is an easy job. If they haven't been serviced, they probably want as much work as it would take to extend the hoses anyway (given the hardest, but not hard, part is draining, filling, bleeding). Also, I'd have bitten their hand off at £300...

    That QR is the only piece I never sourced for my nut/bolt restoration Comp. Found a similar modern one but it doesn’t have the rubber sleeve.

    Yeah, you’re right. Looked at a reference photo and it was silver but I guess it’s not original. Catalog clearly says black. Odd choice for a silver stem. I run a modern setup on mine which is all silver for what I thought was correct, ah well.

    On the saddle; I did manage to find one, but from a riding point of view just note they are very narrow, if you’re planning to ride it all day I’d go with a Flight 😉

    The handlebars are right, they were silver on the team, black on the comp. You’re right about the cantis, look so much better.

    Been away from the forum a few months but I too love your channel and your love for these bikes. As somebody also with a trilogy of 93s (and a brace of 94s, both of which are just frames right now though) it’s great to see you championing them!

    Those grips are definitely the originals. This is the only bike I have ever bought new so I can be 100% sure. I will be following this with a lot of interest!

I’ve now added a genuine 1993 Team to the family, bringing my KHS collection to 5: 3 built up (all 93) and two frames (both 94), two Teams (93 and 94) and three Comps (my own original 93, another 93 and a 94). The garage photo was before a build swap back to original, hence the blue/pink...
