Thank you both for your advice - I expect a fork with 80mm travel or less should be the thing to look for then?

Has anyone tried to fit a suspension fork to a frame like this? It's quite a small frame (about 17") and I'm concerned that it will increase the angle of the fork to a point that adversely affects the riding position. I thought I'd post a picture of the bike in question as I don't see any...
