Purchased as a new bike back in 2000'ish, I think from Wiggle or Chain Reaction.
It shows surface corrosion to the top coating, weathering, surface defects, and some rust of exposed metal parts. It's never seen 'heavy' use, mostly ridden on soft trails, roads etc. Not sure if this surface...

Ya right. Once I got the first coat of DIALL on and didn't see the frame melt in front of my eyes then I calmed down. :)

Aha! Yes. It went bloody well thank you. Actually just needed two liberall coats of that DIAL paint stripper and some good rubbing with the soapy brillo pads. That got all the lacquer off then I polished with Autosol, then some...
Ordered a set of Orange P7 & F7 decals from 'The Gil' but changed my mind on decal colour, so have a brand spanking set ready to sell. They only turned up in the post this morning as Gil had printed them out Monday evening. :)
They are black/orange. So the Orange logo is black with all wording...
So looking for anodised Red bits of the following for my '95 Orange Nickel P7 rebuild :)
1. Dave's Chain Device (DCD)
2. Original Ringle Bottle Cage, and not the newer copies available on ebay

I think my main non-understanding is: if the fork steerer literally sits flush with the top of the head tube (minus any headset parts/race), how will I fit a threaded headset? I assumed you needed at least an 1" of the threaded...
