Best modern 26 rim brake rim

I built a wheelset with the DTSwiss 535. Very affordable, decent weight, not very wide though at 19mm. I run them tubeless after taping them and they hold up ok for a year now.

No idea where they're from, probably some no name Crupi copy. I keep them on my cargo bike now

Cool, I also had a 94 Teq with moto bars. Was a fun hooligan bike.

Sourcing a long M7 stem wedge bolt?

Good point, thank you Oh nice, mine all use a recessed bolt. Yeah, I saw that. And that was the short one! Finding someone with a lathe is probably the smartest option in the end.

Sourcing a long M7 stem wedge bolt?

Yes, if anyone knows of a stem model with a full length bolt and aluminum wedge, it get that one and use the parts. But most light stems I know (Marin and Velocity) use a shelf and short bolt to keep the weight down.

Sourcing a long M7 stem wedge bolt?

Hi all, I found this unmarked (maybe custom?) titanium stem for 1 1/8" threaded steerers I'd like to use on my '95 Marin Pine Mountain build. Sadly it came without hardware. The aluminum wedge from a Marin stem fits nicely, but the Ti stem uses a long bolt that goes all the way up to the cap. I...

Yep they came in Black Light and Raging Red. The orange decals are now almost white

Help please - Steel GT serial numbers

OK, I had to check my last GT now: 94 Tequesta, H3G1 (so late 93 I guess) I like how it's still blue at the BB and sunburnt purple on the top tube.

Help please - Steel GT serial numbers

Saw that thread pop up again, just as I had the girlfriend's 1993 Borrego in for some work. Sadly, the BB area is pretty chewed up by the chain - I rode it hard when I bought the bike new at 17. ?2K1 6279

Help please - Steel GT serial numbers

I just bought a 1986 Timberline with a very hard to read serial: I'm reading 1Z070329. There's a completed listing for an '85 Timberline on eBay showing GT4K1377.

"As New" GT Borrego with Suntour XC Expert

This looks very good apart from some blemishes on the stem and the missing pedals. Mine came with an XC pro rear derailleur for some reason, most had complete XC expert.
