Thanks Roadking. I have some non deep v wheels for it too which I will run normally. The shamals are nice but not suitable for use every time. The camera angle I think makes the cable look a bit long, might trim it a cm or two. Good luck everyone.
Took it out for a spin on Sunday. Absolutely fallen in love with it, so much fun. It's really difficult to describe, but I think this frame size 'fits' alot better than my commuter. Acceleration feels quicker and the whole bike feels smoother.

Yeah it is on the driveside, which is unconventional. The guides on the toptube are on the driveside so it's the only way to get a natural flow for the rear brake cable housing. I am not sure about the rationale either, maybe someone can enlighten me on here.

Thanks for the lovely comments. Just weighed it and it comes to 8.75 kg. Is that standard for a bike this age, obviously it's not going to be a weight weenie.
I haven't dared ride it yet. I still need to pick up the courage, scared of crashing it. But what's the point of it hanging as wall decoration, bikes need to be ridden!
