I clicked on the Belfast craigslist. ever bike is around £1500! not one rusty Raleigh to be seen. The adds are all similar descriptions, some with american words
"The bike is new, only ridden on 2 brief rides around the block"...
Raleigh Vitesse I believe it to be from 1991. Frame Reynolds 531 I weighted it at 2.170Kg.

Just got this (my first Cannondale). Unfortunately it’s been upgraded and has lost its original components. Couldn't find much on the internet, It’s listed as a commuter in the catalogue. The catalogue says it originally had wooden bio-degradable mud guards, I wonder what happened to them...

still after a ultgra 6500 rear quick release and a 7700 rear mech which i forgot to mention.

I am mainly after a Right hand Shifter (Shimano Dura Ace STI type 7700).
But other Bits I am after to bring the bike up to (almost) full Dura Ace are;
* Brake calipers F&R 7700
* Headset (I have the top half of a 7700 from the bike, so i am thinking if I can get a similar looking headset...
Well I have decided to hold this bike of for a while, I plan on building a couple of other bikes that I have and room is limited.
I couldn't get the pistons out either, I may need to make a tool up.
