Well, i had to change a few parts, and really it weighs more like 8.3 with the pedals - so dead on 8-ish
a little tubby for my liking, but upgrades will be happening as and when the bargains appear
I'm fairly happy wit the weight at the moment. over time ill upgrade the brakes to some cnc stuff and put some rival or force on it.
can't really run ten speed yet cause the mechs etc are 8 speed.
Ignore the saddle to bar drop - Im leaving it high for now so I only ever move it down. Don't wanna show any scratches.
Nearly there, could finish it if i had the lever boss cover for the down tube shifter.

Getting there - I've been shaving bits off and swapping bits on the OP list so that is the accurate estimate.
Should be at 8.5kg with tyres and tubes - still a bit heavier than I would like.
