If it bothers, maybe try a skinny broom handle or long wooden dowel down there to gently push out the dent.

The seatpost and clamp in the picture don't look original and near the bottom on the right side, looks like deformation, maybe from over clamping? In my experience, I also have a 91 Lavadome frame which takes a 26.4, but happily be corrected if 92 frames such as these ever did have a 26.2 as stock.

I believe this needs a 26.4 size post. I have an 18" 1992 Kilauea and a 92 Lavadome, both have this size.
