Thanks for the feedback - from memory it is a 19" frame... It is not ahead so I didn't think I could simply measure for fit... I had heard about some frames cracking around the headtube but cannot see any damage. I like the look of RC36's but if the Manitous were an option I'll keep an eye...

Hi folks - I have 1995 Marin Indian Fire Trail and still use it pretty regularly. I was thinking of putting suspension forks on it - perhaps some Pace forks or something else of a similar vintage. Any advice, and also can anyone tell me what's the minimum length of steerer tube I need?
