Re: I was/am a bonefide islabike owner but was sourcing stuff for my sons 20in build which wasn't. I ended up buying shimano deore disc brakes on the end as I changed the build to disc brakes. Give them a call and ask, can't do any harm in trying.

Re: With just the 2 in a 68mm shell it will tighten down without play but you will crush the plastic tube between the 2 cups a little. I know, I did it by accident when I forgot to put the second spacer on. It wasn't damaged but it did rub on the axle and cause friction if I recall correctly.

The forks are spinner air forks and they are reasonable forks for the price. They don't have a lot of adjustments but you can adjust the pressure for weight and they also have lock out. Has anybody got any of the long top hat nuts and bolts that attach Shimano i-spec b shifters to i-spec a disc brake levers? i need them to attach both shifters to my brakes. They're the nuts circled in the image below and the bolts to go with them are 3rd from the left . or the middle bottom...

I'm looking for a child's 24 inch bike or frame but must have disc tabs on the frame. Something like a Giant XTC Jr 24 or Kona Shred 2-4 would be good. Cheers Greg
