Pardon my ignorance but where is the left rear dropout? The frame was recently repainted so don't know if the serial number is still visible! As it had rod brakes, can anybody give an idea of year?

Re: Yeah I thought they might be Raleigh parts but would another manufacturer use Raleigh parts on their bikes? I've searched Raleigh's of that era and the forks seen different.

Hi Guys Need help identifying a bike I picked up partially restored. Previous owner said it was an Elswick Hopper but there are no identifying features I could distinguish. Perhaps some more knowledgeable members could shine some light...? Cheers!
