Cleaned greased and cables changed , Took it out for a spin on Friday and Saturday with a fellow Retro bike rider , couldn't believe how good it was equal if not better than my Giant carbon bike :-).

Great Restoration work looks great, have away to go with mine :-). Can I ask did you need to replace the headset and if so were did you get a new one and mine has 600ex brake levers with cables on outside, did you change yours and what to. Cheers

Very new to this so I apologise for daft questions, if I wanted to upgrade the groupset for something from the same era , what would my options be, also if I wanted to change the rear Sprockets from 6 to 7 could it be done ? Thanks again

I pick the bike up on Friday and cant wait, However I did make a blunder the frame size is 23" and I am only 5.8", got a feeling its a tad or big tad to big :-(

So does that mean it is Pre 1984 Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback and yes would rather avoid re-spray , elbow grease I am happy to do. Looking to ride Erioca Brittania next year and to ride as a hobby with friends, has anyone got an idea on age, from what I have been told 1982 ??

Hello I have just acquired this Revell Rapide not sure what year but think its 1984 ?, Looking to restore and ride , would welcome any help on frame sprayers in surrey sussex area and were I can get replacement decals ..Many thanks
