Does anyone know anything about gitane cycles? I have posted but had no reply at all. Hope there is someone who can help me

I have an old Gitane Avenir which i bought on ebay. It is such a lovely bike fantastic to ride and with weinmann brakes, sachs gears, nervar crank, campagnolo pedals, original bars (made in france) etc.... I more than anything would love to know more about the bike as i cannot find a single...
