Thanks. The titanium bars were discolored / stained. When I tried to clean them the graphics wore down and damaged more than they were. So I powder coated the bars too and had the graphics reproduced. Shocks had to be taken apart for powder coat or internals would have melted in the oven...

Okay, I think I am done with the complete restoration of the Boulder Bicycle. I rode the bike a few times and it rides like a dream. I got the head badge back and I think it came out nice. What do you guys think? Here are some photos I took on Sunday.

Gorgeous bike, I followed the link and looked at the whole photo set. Perfection. All photos I have found so far show original RS1's painted to match frame with no decals.

Thanks, Elite. I was able to get them back together using a bathroom sink drain pipe 1 1/4" pvc. Had to hone it out a little more with a Dremel but it did the job. After all that time and effort, I find one side leaks. I was able to get Risse Racing in Oregon to quote me $100 for rebuild. I...
