well an update to my update is needed,ive just had a chat with my oncologist after my last pet scan i had on saturday.it seems contrary to all probabilities ive had what they call a fekkin hail mary turnaround.he says theres no sign of the pesky hodgkins lymphoma.its gone,vanished,departed,gawn...
i think it was either 97 or 98.id just had the seat sub frame enamled red to match the main frame.its also minus a front mech as id blown all my food money on a nice shiny mavic rear ,mech and a campy triple chainset..who needs to eat anyway.
update..ive just had the date for my second and final stem cell transplant come thru.i have my pet scan the week of march 10th and followed shortly by a rather long stint stuck in a single room for a month at the norfolk and norwich again.this will be my last throw of the dice as it were on...
its been a crappy few years of constant chemo .my stem cell transplant failed as well.that was fun ,then it came back yet again and transformed from non hodg lymph to hodg so i have both to play with now..id just bought a gt fury 2012 in greta condition to get some semblance of fitness...
Sat here reading this enduring 8 hours of chemo for the dual type of lymphoma that’s on its 4th attempt to kill me….wishing you all the best fella in never needing chemo ever again.
