Re: I'll look at the down tube tomorrow, I'm pretty sure it's round at both ends. It has xt cantilever on the rear, deore on the fork. Xtr front Mech, and 600 rear. Bit of a mash, but I'd love a suitable rigid Fork for it. Any suggestions?

I've recently acquired this Roberts mongrel from a charity. It's a 1991 frame, I'm pretty sure it's a Genesis, and not a Spider. But I'd like a number of opinions on this. I'm pretty clueless as to what to look out for, but I've photographed some frame details. All input appreciated :)
