Just finished the F600 for my Daughter with it's fresh Gil_m graphics: Rather more basic spec for her bike, but mostly new parts (apart from the Mavic wheels) and new frame powder coat which wins on shiny points :)

Just received a fantastic set of decals for my Daughter's bike from Gil :) Top quality work that far exceeded my expectations!

Looks great :) Is the orange (mango I think it was called!) My son's '99 F300 is the same colour and looks different everytime I take a picture of it!

Near Nantwich, we went over to Swynnerton old park Saturday morning. Got back just as it started to throw it down! :) It's a 'medium' according to the guy I bought it from. No idea if that's correct as there is no frame sticker. :)

We had our first proper ride out this weekend and it's great! The components should serve him well for years, just need a bigger frame once he gets to more than about 5' 6"! I've got all the bits to build my daughters F600 frame up now, so I'll crack on with that one soon!

Finally finished it! Various unnecessary but essential carbon and anodised bits: 23lb all up weight so quite pleased with that for the budget, he just needs to grow a bit now, but I get the feeling that's not going to stop him riding it! :) The frame around the rear brake is a bit...

Hi, I'm after a basic, (but at least with a damper!) 80mm travel fork with 1 1/8" steerer Cosmetics must be good as it's for my daughter... :) I've browsed the bay of E, but options are limited within a reasonable budget (say £50?) What do you have? :) Thanks Gary

I'm putting together a couple of medium framed bikes for my two kids at present made up from parts collected from this site and eBay of course! :) Both are Cannondales as I'm a bit attached to the brand since buying one new back in '95 and currently owning a CAAD10 road bike and an F29 mountain...

A whole 6.5 miles of torture yesterday at the Shread & Tread event at Cannock Chase. Came last. Commentator did mention '...on a rigid retro bike. V brakes? Do you remember them!'

Good story :) My first mountain bike was a '91 Bear Valley, which my brother in law still owns. Loved it :) SPD slippers are the way forward!
