Wanted cheap frame/bike ideally 54cm rust is no problem local to wellingborough. need another bike as mine got stollen max price £100 for whole build. Peugeot would be nice
I use Daz mixed in a bowl extremely strong, though I think any washing powder can be used. A little warm water and a cloth and let it soak for a while then rub clean. This has worked for me several times, though i'm sure theres a better and properly more expensive solution.
Shimano 6spd uniglide have the built in spacer on the lock ring cog at 2.65mm then just add a 1mm spacer to knock it up. I have just managed to get a proper Uniglide cassette again too realise it had 7 speed spacings I could use my original 6 speed spacers but not the most important lock ring...
Nope you can't do it quite as easily as that!
The last screw on cog has a built in spacer of 3mm! So unless you surface grind it down .35mm and add a 1mm it won't index properly!
This then makes it the 3.65mm spacing as found on a usual 6spd :P
I've found this out to my avail in the past!
So I had to help my grandad today clean out his shed!
He like me was much into his bikes
We'll start with the best!
An old Cyclo Benelux rear derailler, as you can see it's in a bad way but it was free!
Next

Can the funeral people not help you out? If not maybe speak to someone from the church. They normally know somewhere village hall etc.If it was a little further this way I'd be able to help you out but Bury is over 40 miles away from me.
The answer is as always going to be yes though it just depends on the price factor and whether it's going to be practical to make for the money.
"Yes we can do that £70 per part please"
I've heard of M12 bolts sold for £600
