i am looking at buying some deep carbon rims for general road riding/training. they are 3k weave, 500mm front/60mm deep and made with ceramic bearings in novotec hubs and flat blade spokes. they are unbranded, so im guessing the builder buys them in from somewhere and builds them up...

not fussed if they come with a lense but after the older neon yellow frames with black oakley logo on stem-must have crack free hinges!

oakley here is my collection from about 3 years ago, its now housed in 1 double wide cabinet, a singlewide, a counter top cabinet, counter top cube and a gun cabinet.....current collection stands at about 180 pairs.... its all vintage sub zeros, zeros, mumbos, m-frames, blades, razor blades...

oakleys those are legit you had the eyeshade factory pilot (with the oakley sticker on the lense) and eyeshades with out the sticker. these are fine.

there was an interview/artical about his frogskin collection......he said he never had any intentions of selling his collection, but put a price out to guage the responce and see if there were any 'takers'......a couple of years ago, he also listed his collection on ebay for $1 million dollars...

for sure, it wasnt just the frogskins that were prone to breaking, it also included the original mumbos, m frames, eyeshades and the blades system, mainly due to the original material used for manufacture (serilium). it has to be remembered that over time plastics, or similar compounds can...
