I got it resprayed by Colourtech who do all Roberts' work, the Columbus stickers are no longer available. It wouldn't really be right anyway (in my opinion) as the newer frames have less Columbus tubing...
What were you riding in those days? The race was during the winter 92-93 series. My dad used to keep the bonfire going in the start area.

There probably wouldn't be an issue with strength but there would be an issue with the taper as Japanese bottom brackets have a larger taper. Basically a campag chainset would not push far enough onto a shimano bottom bracket and a shimano chainset would push too far (and probably not tight...
