Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. I’ve broken out the digital calipers, shifting up with the main lever (going from inner chainring outwards) it’s pulling 8mm of cable and then the next click is 5.6mm. (I do appreciate that I could just stop messing about and mount the thing! 😅)

Hello! I have an old RSX (ST-A410). It pulls 13mm over two stages, I’m convinced it’s a triple but came from a stock 2x7 chaindrive. Thought I’d check with the pros! 👍

Hello, I’ve noticed an indent, I’d assumed it was to accommodate a front mech but they don’t generally use them - is this a dent or purpose made? I can’t find any reference only, hoping someone might know more about P3’s than me, shouldn’t be difficult! :) Thanks

Hi. I’m trying to identify these rims, Specialized hub on rear, Shimano on the front - the front is definitely new, the Specialized rear may also be a replacement? They’re extremely heavy duty, there are zero indications / logos / branding, does anyone recognise them or suggest what to search...

That’s right, the largest 7 bolt together, the 2 smallest just sit on top. I’ve never seen a Shimano like this, it’s not to say it’s rare, but I have seen a fair few over the years, just not like this one!

Hello, I’ve not seen a Shimano cassette that breaks down fully, not like most SRAM ones do. Unfortunately the code isn’t on the lock ring. Does anyone know what model it might be? It came off an LX hub / Mavic 517 SUP. Thanks

Hello. I found a discoloured line where I guessed the carbon seatstay meets the aluminium dropout, common sense said it’s on the join but I couldn’t stop myself rubbing it down to make sure. It was right on the join, no sign of damage. I’ve applied a reasonable amount of pressure to the dropout...
