dmdmdm, great seller, stuff was packaged safely and there were no issues at all with the international transaction! Trustworthy bloke, much appreciated!
sounds like I don't have enough bits to work with, I might just rebuild as they are and put them on something they fit properly! just picked up some M4s with tech levers that will fit what I need, not retro at all but I really dig em.
I do remember brake failure well! many years ago running...
awesome, cheers coyote! wonder how ill go finding just a cap though. sport levers are a bit more common around here, would the cap off one of those fit? took me ages to find pros.
I think ill give it a go with some new 2pot callipers from the V2 or X2, whatever they're called now. I haven't measured anything yet but surely the 2 new larger pistons wouldn't need much more oil flow than the old 4 pots. my next problem is one lever is closed and one is open. from what ive...
hey guys, ive got some old hope Pro levers that I really want to use on a bike I'm putting together but the frame+fork mounts are post type and id rather have a neat setup with no extra adaptors/mounts so I was thinking of using a new calliper like an X2 or even E4 with the old levers. Has...
no idea! i dont even own bathroom scales to do a rough estimate. most of the build is old DH stuff so she's a tad heavy but the frame and shock alone felt pretty light for an all alloy 6". as i change bits ill aim to cut weight where possible. rims/tyres and forks will probably help the most.
*sorry for the low quality photo's, no more fancy (not so)smart phone so had to make do! will try to scrounge a better one*
G'day guys! well after a couple of years without riding bikes, i decided to finally build up the frame i impulse bought quite a while ago!

this is what you need bro! i ran monsters for years on heaps of different frames, most with really long head tubes. always had room to adjust fork length.
yea thats fine mate, you can sorta tell by the gap from the top of the spring to where the top tube meets the seat tube. its either medium or large, they were all really short. doesn't bother me though, when i eventually get it built it will be the most badarse path cruiser ever!
