These are a really nice pair of 26" MTB wheels. The hubs are quite rare XTR M910 36 hole from 1995. I managed to find a brand new free hub body and cones for the rear hub. Both hubs serviced with new bearings. There are scuffs and signs of use on the hub shells. Rims are NOS Mavic 517CD 36...

Thanks for everyone's help :-) this is the first build I'm doing all by myself... does anybody know where I can get a derailleur hanger for it? The one that came with it doesn't seem to be the right 9ne. Looks like the previous owner has made one fit by drilling an extra hole.

recently bought this and I think it's an SM1000 but, can't be sure... Anyone confirm and tell me the year of the bike. And also, what colours the bike came in as I'm maybe going to get it resprayed. It has a 1" headset and pepperoni forks. Thanks, Louise
