    Where are all the Ridgebacks?

Re: coolerking ridgeback That definitely looks a lot like the Ridgeback Cooler King I have! Also had mine 20+ years. I bought mine for about £400 new. It still gets used, though not as much as some of my other bikes. The last big ride it did was the Kennet & Avon canal, about 80 miles in...

The very first Ridgeback bouncy bikes

I just had a rummage around for pictures of both the Dirty Harry and the Nice Guy Eddie - they certainly all seem to be the same family as the Cooler King. I quite like the two-tone paint jobs.

    ridgeback cooler king

Its very short so results in a fairly upright position. It was more comfortable over the 80 miles Bath to Reading than my old 2005 Trek 4300. Definitely influenced by those Marins - almost a copy at the rear!

    Where are all the Ridgebacks?

I have a Ridgeback Cooler King. Bought it in 1998, new, for ~£400. As mentioned in another tread about this, it's still going strong. It's a bit like riding on an old sofa compared with newer bikes. Only changes made are replacement front disc and calipers and a rear tyre. The front tyre is the...

    ridgeback cooler king

Finally back to follow up on this post. As already stated, I have a Ridgeback Cooler King. I bought it back in 1998 for ~£400. The only things I've changed since new are new front brake disc & calipers and the rear tyre. It's still going strong; I did Bath to Reading on it a couple of years...

    ridgeback cooler king

I own a RidgeBack Cooler King. I had it from new in 1998. The front brake cable has perished where it has been in storage but other than that it is sound. Certainly an odd bike but I had some great times on it. I'll post a picture later!
