    Archive StarBike MT2 Hydraulic V-brakes

I'd a bike worth of these though never fitted or used them Considered myself fortunate to have been able to flog them off to some other poor starry eyed schmuck. I shall be ever proud of the day I dodged that bullet

Wanted Hope “Orange” 185mm 6 bolt disc rotor.

Hope used to do custom rotors, but i think they stopped, but even finding one a seller is possibly going to ask more than a knackered rotor is really worth. I suppose its worth phoning Hope to ask. Could bee a long wait otherwise. Another problem that might come up is 5 bolt rotors were for...

    Is this safe?!

As im too lazy to read the entire thread, i will consider that someone has said that a welder will have that fixed in a jiffy. Or you could buy a cheap welder and do it yourself- though you mentioned you were into cars, so owning one of those would be very handy and save you money in the long...

How to: Repair stripped puller threads on cranks

Snow is good. great for doing snow angels. But impromptu ones like this are not the way to do it. To avoid the puller tearing out you really need to make sure its tight when you start to do up the puller bit. Not just hand tight, it needs to be tight as tight can be(obviously without tearing...

I don't get why some people don't get ebikes.

No I think they are missing the point. The point is to have fun. I hear those mtb riders against ebikes shout out utter nonsense about fitness, and nonsense it truly is. If they were interested in fitness, they'd own a road bike, not a mountain bike. So spouting that argument is a fallacy, and...

    Fake Chinese bike parts

Crumbs. Didnt mean to start anything  My point is with these(lets call them reproductions) there is no way to differentiate between an original and a reproduction. So for example, i could buy a set of reproduction Ringle skewers, then sell them down the line as being nos originals at a...

    Show us your e-bike

Very nice. Looks like a nice place to visit, or go cycling in. Come winter however and it changes from a nice place to visit, to a very dangerous landscape you need to be well prepared for.
