Frame number on left dropout is: 3823

It would/should be 1958 (the year of birth of my wife) but strange enough I can not find this one in what catalog so ever.... Strange are the leather bags on the rear, the cantilever Mafac brakes and the dynamo at the front fork.... A lovely bonus were the MAFAC and Rustines stuf in the bags...

In that case, I nominate my Caballero 60/70's replica teambike which I made in living remembrance of my idol and friend Cees Zoontjens (NL) which passed away in 2011. His 1970 in Tour de France worn jersey is still hanging in the hall... 🥰

My latest bike, modern as it is. A Fuji Jari 2.1 gravel bike. Nice smooth ride. Love the low pressure big tyres. 😍

Shortened saddles were often used by stayers (behind big pacer moto's). Because of the regulations. The saddle point wasn't allowed to go over the straight line compared to the bracket. With a shorter saddle you could win some centimeter to sit more to the front. Which is in the benefit of the...
